To the left is the Teasub Tea Infuser I used to create my tea. I used a crunched up cinnamon stick as well as a dash of powdered cinnamon, nutmeg, rosemary, and peppermint leaves.
After adding the crushed cinnamon stick, I added 1/2 tsp nutmeg. Nutmeg is a known soothing agent and aids digestion.
I then added a dash of powdered cinnamon for extra cinnamon flavor. This paired with the crushed cinnamon stick is meant to treat symptoms of nausea.
I then added three peppermint leaves. Peppermint is used as a stomach soother as well.

Finally, I added a pinch of rosemary for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

I then allowed the tea to steep in boiling water before drinking. I personally am not a fan of tea and wished there was more of a mint flavor and less of a cinnamon influence, but otherwise, the tea did have a very calming, relaxing effect. I think this was successful medicinally--I had just eaten a large meal and it definitely improved how my stomach was feeling. If I was to duplicate it, I would include significantly more rosemary and mint and less cinnamon. Otherwise, I feel that it was very successful and I enjoyed the process of creating my own tea--something I did not actually know could be done.
